...For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that apeareth a for a little time, and then vanisheth away. - (James 4:14)
This open air sermon was preached in Melbourne on 18 May 2007. The text was taken from James 4:11-17, calling from people to consider God's judgement in light of their own mortality.
I offer this as an example of a clear Biblical presentation of the Gospel, given to people who need to hear it. I apologise in advance for the sound quality of the recording, I hope that you find the clarity of the content worth the struggle to hear it. The location of the preaching is a busy tram stop, at the cross road of Swanston and Bourke Streets, which is in the heart of Melbourne, which is in the centre of Melbourne's CBD.
The message is one that centres on the sinner's need to repent of their sin, and place their trust in Jesus Christ's sacrifice for their sin. You'll hear many who mock as they pass, and yet there were far more who were visibly convicted by the Holy Spirit at the hearing of these words.
